Dee and I are on our way back to South America, in particular, Argentina and Patagonia, with the AT! Since the hammering from the last trip, she has had some TLC:
Steering head bearings
Rear wheel bearings
Rear wheel re-build with new s/s spokes
Wilbers rear shock with remote pre-load adjustment
Wilbers front forks - new internals and oil
Full service - oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, brake fluid, spark plugs etc
Shortened centre stand legs
However, since selling and leaving our house, things haven't quite gone to plan! This was the actual day that we left. Luckily though, not stuck on 'our' driveway!
AT at Heathrow, ready for crating but freighting will be delayed due to repairs to the runway in Buenos Aires closing it to wide bodied aircraft from the 25th October to 11th November! Flying with Delta Airlines from LHR via Atlanta. Delta couldn't guarantee that we wouldn't be charged storage if it didn't make it before the closure and was stuck in Atlanta so we had to delay departure for the AT.
Nearly ready to go, enjoying a cheeky beer in Halesworth before catching the train to London tomorrow.
