We had never been here before so wanted to find out what the end of the camino was all about - and what a lovely city we found! From this point below, the Pilgrims get their first glimpse of the Cathedral in the distance.
A short bus ride from our campsite for 1 euro, took us the 'Al Centro'. The centre is very compact, totally pedestrianised and a great place to explore. There 'pilgrims' from all over the world. Unfortunately, it was a bit overcast, so not ideal for photos.

Once the queues to enter the Cathedral had died down we went inside and formed an orderly queue to walk passed the 'Relic' of Santiago (Saint James), located inside a silver box that was rediscovered in the 9th century.
