Antigua to the coast

Here are some pics from our time in Antigua. Volcan Agua dominates the skyline.

On our way to Monterrico on the coast, we took another rickety ferry, this time through a mangrove swamp. The only way to load was backwards. It was a lovely trip.

We visited a turtle release project and saw lots of Olive Ridley's make the dash for the sea. Unfortunately, the rip tides in the sea made it too dangerous to swim, but we did enjoy a lovely big pool in our hotel!
