There are more well looked after dogs in Mexico, wearing nice collars and harnesses. We have seen a fair few Chihuahuas and Mexican Hairless!
Unfortunately, still lots of strays but we are soon volunteering at a dog rescue centre to do our bit to help them :)
These dogs below had a life of luxury at our hostal in San Christobal, and even had a mural dedicated to them!
This lovely perro was oblivious to the weaving demonstration going on beside him.
A very sweet Boxer at our hotel on Isla Mujeres, called Manderina.
A nice dog at the ruins of Teotihuacan. He was more photogenic than the ruins!
We found this gorgeous pup scavaging for food in a petrol station. He was nervous but soon gained confidence after a few biscuits!
We would have loved to have taken him with us.
This lovely dog shared some street food with us.
This aloof girl is the lighthouse dog of Mazatlan.
Sadly, we have seen a lot more dogs dead on the road.....we think it is because there are more faster vehicles.
