A beautiful hike to A Moa, the summit of Monte Pindo in Galicia. The forecast was rain all day so we started the hike at O Fieiro, there and back, rather than a longer, steeper option. This would be better in the rain but luckily it held off and we had a lovely walk through the varying terrain.
Monte Pindo is filled with huge boulder stones, many of which resemble humanlike figures and animals. There are many myths and legends about the mountain and the caves were used for the men from surrounding villages to hide in during the civil war.
