The small fishing town of Finisterre

From the summit of Monte Pindo, A Moa, we could just make out the small fishing town of Finisterre, or Fisterra in Galician. This would be our next stop.

Located on a peninsular, which is the most western point in Spain, Fisterra means end of the world. We stayed on an Aire and booked in with a jovial man called Santiago. It was basically a large carpark but it suited us as we could explore the town and nearby lighthouse on foot.

We called in the fish market - it had viewing platforms so the public could watch the fish auctions - very interesting but not many bidding!
