The Buddha Eden Gardens and Obidos in the rain

This place is simply crazy! It is a bit out of place in Portugal and we thought it would have a few statues of Buddha but in fact its huge. Hundreds of statues of Buddha including a couple of massive ones plus other sculptures depicting other areas around the world. We managed to have a good look around considering there were heavy showers.

From here we travelled to the old walled town of Obidos for the night. Its very unusual to find a town with the wall totally intact with a great wall walk without health and safety! It's a picturesque little place but very touristy. We had a very tasty meal in the evening - bream for Dee and pork for Phil.

Fram Castle used to be like this
